Building Blocks Therapy

Heidi joined the Building Blocks Therapy team in October 2022. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Millersville University, with a dual degree in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She continues to enhance her knowledge and gain ideas for her students through various workshops and trainings. 

Heidi has always worked in the training and teaching arena and has extensive experience in working with children. She worked as a substitute and floater teacher, as well as a preschool and kindergarten teacher. Heidi also worked in the childcare industry and because of her successful communication skills and her professional creative approach, she additionally holds a “trainer position” and trains other early childhood professionals to work with students aged 3 months to Kindergarten. 

Heidi raised 2 successful children and is very involved in her community.  She loves to ski, bike, garden and travel.  She holds her Professional Ski Instructor Certification and is also a Certified Child Specialist-10 yrs. Heidi believes early childhood education is invaluable because it improves a child’s cognitive, social, and emotional development.  Her goal is to make ongoing connections with her students and families in order to foster a positive learning environment.
