Building Blocks Therapy

Beverly has been working at Building Blocks since 2019.  She loves working with children aged birth to three alongside their family and caregivers.  Beverly has worked as a speech-language pathologist in both local public and special education schools.  She has evaluated and treated students aged preschool through 21 with a variety of communication needs, including articulation, expressive and receptive language, reading, stuttering, and social skills.  Beverly is passionate about helping children communicate their wants and needs across all settings with all listeners and speakers. 

Beverly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science and Disorders and her Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Pittsburgh.  She is certified by the American Speech/Language Hearing Association (ASHA).  She is licensed by the State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and holds a Level 1 teaching certificate by the State of Pennsylvania.  Beverly regularly participates in continuing education related to a range of topics, including birth to three treatment, articulation treatment, reading development, and expressive and receptive language treatment.
